RF960-8 8-zone Fiber Optic Intrusion Detection System
-
The RF960-8 is an 8-zone Zone type Fiber Intrusion Detection System (ZFIDS) designed to detect intrusions into the perimeters and borders on the basis of the principle of laser interference. It adopts optical fiber vibration sensing technology, to detect and notify any intrusion attempt such as climbing, cutting sabotage the fence or disassembles the system. Furthermore, it has strong anti-disturb ability to eliminate environment nuisance alarms and can be immune to electromagnetic interference, lightning and storms.
The RF960-8 system is composed of RF960-8 host and several passive terminals. The host adopts 19 inch standard
chassis, every two zones corresponds to an optical output interface and 2 optical input interfaces. By default, RF960-8 supports 8 contact closure alarm outputs, the contact closure output can be extended and contact closure input can be also supported by choosing auxiliary card (declared before order). It is suitable for complex terrain, ammunition depots, ware houses, inflammable or explosive areas.
Features■ 19 inch standard chassis
■ Support up to 8 zones.
■ Optical fiber length is up to 1000m.
■ Uses normal optical fiber cable (GYXTW).
■ Fiber optics can be installed on wire net or underground.
■ Supports 8 contact closure alarm outputs, the contact closure output can be extended and contact closure input can be also supported by choosing auxiliary card (declared before order).
■ Supports video linkage supervision
■ Detect behaviors of climbing, cutting, and sabotage.
■ Alarm responding time is less than 3 seconds
■ Supports external 2G/3G/4G wireless module for remote alarm
■ Easy for installation and debugging, and supports remote parameter adjustment
■ Supports intrusion data replayed
■ Supports parameters adjustment to filter nuisance alarm and missing reports
■ Automatic adapted to the wind, rain and other changes in the external environment
■ ESD and surge protection circuits inside, which is immune to electromagnetic interference, lightning damage
■ Adopts 220V AC/50Hz power supply with power consumption of less than 13W
■ Ambient working temperature: -40℃ ~ +70℃.
■ Supply software RFVIEW-W that offers graphical interface for optical fiber fence daily operation.
■ The passive terminals adopt ABS engineering-plastics enclosure that is designed to be waterproof, resistant to pressure, corrosion, and weather extremes.
Application
As shown in Figure 1, the RF960-8 host, installed in the central office, located at one terminal of all zones. The 1 pieces of 8 core fiber cable are deployed, extending to one direction one by one. Each cable connects can arrange four zones.
As shown in figure 2 shows, from the central office, the optical fiber buses extend toward to both sides. Each fiber cable can deploy 2 zones.
In some application, we can use the connection with only one optical cable. It adopts one 6-core or 8-core optical fiber cable, one RFM007-G, two RFM003-G, one RFM009-G and one RFM001-G.
